Ok, I have decided that I am getting rid of the baby fat NOW! I had someone ask me this weekend if I was pregnant again, which means it is time to stop procrastinating. The question I have for all of you out there, other mom's how did you lose the weight, and those who haven't had kids are welcome to comment too on the best ways you have lost extra weight. Thanks!
I've had good results with weight watchers but it's hard to always get to meetings and I don't like paying for it. Get rid of the junk food. Replace candy with fruit, ice cream with frozen yogurt. Kick the soda and drink more water. Work hard to get all your fruits and veggies and it will keep you fuller on healthy food and lower your calorie intake. Everyone says to work out but just changing the way that you eat will do wonders. Start with that and then try to work in some exercise. Good Luck!!!!!
ReplyDeleteFor me I had to drink lots of water and watch what I ate (I didn't have to be very strict just not stupid either) and exercise. But for me I had to vary the type of exercises I did because my body doesn't like to lose weight as quickly if I'm always doing the same thing... I had to mix it up a bit. Set realistic goals, try to make it fun, and be kind to yourself emotionally. Your body has been through a lot in the last year, so try and love it for all it has done.
ReplyDeleteIve heard P90X is supposed to be awesome! I havent tried it but I know a girl that did it after her pregnany and she looks super skinny I cant even believe she had a baby! Its like workout videos or something. To be honest im not sure what it consists of but you can look it up online.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you were able to nurse or if you still are, but nursing definitely helped me lose some of the weight. Other than that I tried really hard to just be active as much as possible. It's easy to sit and watch a movie or something but instead I would put Kambi in the stroller and go for a walk.
ReplyDeleteI'll second what Breelyn said too: cut out the sweets and drink more water.
Good luck babe! You can do it!
I really enjoyed a protein shake in the morning. Basically cutting out high fructose corn syrup, and you'll be surprised at the difference. I just walk 3x a week and do pilates or yoga 2x. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI could always use a running buddy...getting active is good, too (although I can't really say from experience). Or so the little guy can come along a nice walk everyday can work wonders (it has helped me before)...
ReplyDeleteGet pregnant again! I was sick the first trimester so it came right off. ha ha. Good luck, I feel your pain!
