Birthday = 36 weeks

So I got a surprise visit from my friend Taubi who came over with some brownies, ice cream (yum) and candles for my birthday. It is always strange to have another birthday come around for me, but fun to have two people that I love a lot.

Then we had this idea to measure and see how large around I was at 36 weeks exactly. We used yarn and then measured it out on our tape measure. It is kinda scary seeing how long it measures out. I wanted it to stop a lot sooner...

Yup, I would have one tall kid next to me if my tummy were a person. Thankfully this will only last a few more weeks, and then I can wear jeans again (cause don't worry, even my maternity jeans are not fitting right now). Just a little longer...

One of the BEST birthday gifts EVER!

So this week, one of my birthday presents was that I actually got to sleep. And not for just a few hours at a time. I was able to sleep for 12 HOURS with only one small break in between of like half an hour or 45 min! It felt AMAZING!! I know with the baby coming that won't happen for like... ever, but I loved it!

36 and counting...

Well I am now 36 weeks and waiting for Tommy to arrive. I can't believe it is almost here! He is doing a good job of already keeping me up at night from either having to do trips to my friend John or by jabbing me non-stop.

I was at my brother's house and wanted to get a more recent picture of me and my sis (in-law) who due three months after me (she is having a girl!) and so this is probably going to be the last one we get. We are very excited!

Midnight Days

I feel like I add in another day during the night. The baby wakes me up by one (after I have been blissfully sleeping for a couple hours) and then I can't fall back asleep for atleast another two hours, if not 4+.

SERIOUSLY! I know I am getting trained to wake up with the baby, but I would very much like to sleep a little more than what I am getting. That is my wish. Please grant my wish to me before he comes and I really can't sleep anymore...
