So, I have been absent from the blogging world because I was in a place where I didn't want to get on here and have my emotions come up. Basically, I wasn't feeling good about myself or how my life was going. Slowly things are getting better. So in honor of that, I will do a quick update.
Kellen has finished his first year of teaching and had his last day of his summer teaching job. CONGRATS BABE!! I am so glad that he likes what he does. We were worried that he would have a hard time with it, but he loves working with almost all of those kids at Hunter. And now football and wrestling season will keep him busy through the rest of the year. Blagh.
Thomas is 2 1/2!!! How did he get so old already? This kid is SERIOUSLY too smart for his own good. And he knows each and everyone of my buttons and loves to push them frequently, but is also such a sweetheart and if he thinks you are hurting or sad tries to find out what is wrong and make sure you are ok. He has even started trying to grab whoever else is in the house to "help" at those times.
Zeke is 8 months. My little baby isn't very little anymore. He is just shy of 20lbs and I believe it. My little chunky monkey is a sweetie. He loves Thomas, daddy, grandma, and mommy. He has started to LOVE his puffs as well and tries to shove about 6 in at one time. He has been frustrated for a while trying to figure out the crawling thing, but I think we are about past that point as today he went forward in an actual crawl for about 3 'crawls'.
And I have STARTED A BUSINESS!! I am FINALLY living my dream (besides being a mom and wife) by teaching horseback riding lessons! I bought an amazing lesson horse named Ace who has been a lifesaver! And after just over a month of doing this, I now have 10 students I am working with and it is growing. Soon, I will have Koobits back with me and will have two amazing horses helping me teach others to love horses as much as I do.
(Here are a few photos of things we have been up to this summer. There are a few, but hopefully I will start keeping things on here again).
That is sooo exciting that you are teaching horse riding lessons! I'm glad that things are going better for you these days. Thanks for the update :)
