So I got a surprise visit from my friend Taubi who came over with some brownies, ice cream (yum) and candles for my birthday. It is always strange to have another birthday come around for me, but fun to have two people that I love a lot.
Then we had this idea to measure and see how large around I was at 36 weeks exactly. We used yarn and then measured it out on our tape measure. It is kinda scary seeing how long it measures out. I wanted it to stop a lot sooner...
Yup, I would have one tall kid next to me if my tummy were a person. Thankfully this will only last a few more weeks, and then I can wear jeans again (cause don't worry, even my maternity jeans are not fitting right now). Just a little longer...
You look so cute as a pregnant momma! I was so insecure with how big I felt/looked I didn't take any prego pics. Now seeing how cute yours are, I kinda wish I had done that. Hope you had a great birthday! I am so sorry I missed it. :-( We need to come up there sometime soon. Do you know how to put a baby day counter on your blog? That would be fun to see...
ReplyDeleteOh sweetie, I remember the days. My last measurement was very similar. I also remember the last few weeks, thankfully my hubby was an XL so I could wear his sweats during those last few days, and weeks afterwards. Hang in there, you look great. I am so excited for you!!!!
ReplyDeleteYea, I have three sweats that I can wear now. One was my dad's, one was Kellen's, and one (which is tight) are maternity. Luckily I can wear some of Kellen's and my dad's shirts as well. :)
